Baby Z has amazingly started to connect words. At 19 months old, she has only one connecting word that she actually uses in a sentence. “And” possibly being the easiest has given her the chance to link words like “milk and mani (water) and baby” for her early morning talk from her cot when we go to pick her up whilst handing us all the objects. Being a parent, it is nice to hear her creating a sentence rather than just using individual words. Now all we have to do is teach her a different word than “and”… a little choice in vocabulary can be helpful to the ear.
